JUNIOR

Remembering Junior

“You smiled with your eyes, laughed with your tail, and loved with your heart.”

Two days ago we lost our little street puppy, Junior.
A speeding car crushed him while he was sleeping on the side of the quiet road in our colony.

Junior was only four months old, but in that short time he filled our street with so much life. His tiny wiggly tail greeted everyone, his jumps were full of excitement, and every child here loved playing with him. Even the other street dogs seemed to accept him easily—his cheerful spirit made friends everywhere. His liveliness and playfulness were extraordinary.

The first night was the hardest for us. Watching his mother search and cry for him was heartbreaking. She is a little calmer now, but so much sadness is still there.

I truly hope that animals also have a peaceful place close to God, and I like to believe Junior is safe there now.

What I want to remember most is the lesson he left behind—how freely he gave love. Anyone who met him, even for a moment, received that joy.

Thank you, Junior, for giving us so much love and sharing your free spirit in such a short time. You will always be remembered in our hearts and in our street. 🐾
